I have volunteered in Lesvos Greece, where thousands of refugees are landing on the beaches in search of shelter from Islamist radicals and the civil war in Syria. The trauma that is experiencing the mundocuando hear of the terrible events that happened in Paris is terrible. But the inhuman reaction to these refugees is equally worrying. So, I wrote this blog for those of you who like to publish ignorant things on my Facebook wall and prosecute thousands of refugees from the comfort of their homes but have neither will ever have to face the thousands of lives that have been devastated by religious fanaticism. I would like to introduce some of the terrorists who have met the last two days in Lesvos, Greece.
Here is a list of terrorists:
The single father who brought his daughter extremely handicapped to Greece to give it a more secure life. She could not stand on its own or make eye contact. He paid thousands of dollars to bring it to Greece. He held her in his arms while waiting for the bus lovingly combing the refugee camp. Grinning from ear to ear, because both were safe. He was certainly a terrorist. The girl also terrorist.
Parents who were arrested before crossing the border from Afghanistan. Although they were arrested, they told their children not to follow them until they reached Greece. TERRORISTS
The 13 year old daughter who spoke perfect English because he learned it at school, then practiced reading the newspaper. TERRORIST.
His brother 14 years old who came with her, who laughed every time her sister was going to make a joke in English. TERRORIST.
The other 12 year old brother who had a tremendous ear infection. I do not speak much pain and he needed his parents. TERRORIST.
The young professional who spoke six languages and served as a translator for US forces until the US He left Afghanistan and had to flee for his life. TERRORIST.
The old man who arrived from Iraq. The volunteers ran to tell doctors that the man was sick and when we arrived we realized he was not ill but who was 90 years old. TERRORIST
3 grandchildren of the elderly who were at least 20 years each. They chose to sleep in a tent for 2 people with the old man although may have their own tents. TERRORIST
A pregnant woman who was having terrible cramps but was forced to continue the journey to Greece by Turkish smugglers. She had a miscarriage on the boat. When he landed at Lesvos, his legs were bleeding from their loss. She terrorist and his son never born, probably one too.
The Syrian boy of 20 who had impeccable taste in music , including Radiohead and the Black Keys. TERRORIST
The guy who landed on the shore and called his friend to take a picture for which he proudly sediment on the sea and immediately wonder, “What country is this?” TERRORIST
3 super well-dressed Syrians who arrived soaked and had to change his clothes because they were wet. After receiving the clothing donation, proceeded to taunt each other pointing ugly clothes went. TERRORIST
The girl to whom I gave him a ride to the refugee camp. His beautiful eyes that looked as if andara mascara and eyeliner. She smiled at me the whole way and putting their hands in a prayer, I kept bowing his head in gratitude. He did so many times during the 5 minute drive that reached it got a little uncomfortable. TERRORIST
His mother, who every time his daughter leaning his head, laughed and said “Thank You” immediately afterwards, as if I did not understand what her daughter was trying to say. TERRORIST.
The young family arrived Kurdistan very late at night. When we take their life jackets we realized that the smugglers had sold them fake jackets and filled with straw. TERRORIST.
The Christian teacher who had his doctorate in classical literature . TERRORIST
The guy who was threatened by gun and whipped decided at the last minute because he did not want mounted on the boat and Turkish smugglers forced him to the ship anyway. TERRORIST
I have seen many terrorists as those in recent days. Actually, I would water the news to everyone with these terrorists fear them so they know the kind of person that I know. Everyday There are hundreds of people like these. I give them food and dry clothes to then move to refugee camps, where their feet are rotting and are suffering from the cold. They have not a single blanket.
I hope you see that the situation is not as simple as “do not let them in.”
By giving back to all Muslims as they could be a terrorist, they are turning their backs to nearly 3 million people. And when you turn your back to 3 billion people, we have a global crisis.
